checking sources

Industry Hub

A source-backed explorer for the whole world. Country figures come live from the World Bank Indicators API; every value on this page shows its source, indicator code and observation year. Nothing is estimated, interpolated or invented — where an observation does not exist, the cell says so.

World map

Every economy as a tile, positioned from its real centroid. Colour is the indicator you pick; a hatched tile means no observation exists — it is never coloured as if it were zero. Open any country to drill into its state or province tiles — every country, built from its real subdivision centroids. A green dot means an official statistics agency is wired for that country on top.

Compare

Up to four economies on one axis. Only years with a real observation for a given economy are plotted — gaps in a line are gaps in the source, not zeros.

Data sources

Everything this app can show you, where it comes from, what it covers, and when it was last successfully fetched in this browser. If a source is not listed here, this app does not use it.

Settings

API keys stay in this browser only. They are never sent anywhere except directly to the API they belong to.
